A Funny Definition of Nonpartisan
Organizing for America, the rump outfit that is the remnants of the Obama for America campaign, sure has a funny definition of nonpartisan. This is an email that was forwarded to me that was sent to their mailing list. The contradictions are rich.

2013 is a big year for VA, as they get to replace neo-con Bob McDonnell with a progressive champion, Terry McAuliffe. The McAuliffe team has reached out to me because they’ve heard about all we did to help in VA last year (aka we won VA for Obama). While the new OFA is not involved in partisan elections, I know that many volunteers still want to be involved. I’ll be heading to VA this spring and summer to help. Will you join me?
They’re holding a Day of Action on May 18th, and have asked for MD’s help. Sign up via this link to learn how you can be a part of the Terry McAuliffe for Governor Day of Action, and a staff member will be reaching out soon to confirm details and answer any questions you may have.
