Club for Growth Endorses Andy Harris

I often disagree with Club for Growth’s endorsements because they frequently accentuate the fiscal over the moral to the extent that I think they are the essence of the man who knows the price of everything and the value of nothing.

In this case they have it right. Not only will Andy Harris be a much more fiscally responsible representative, he has what Mr. Gilchrest lacks: a moral compass.

While my bill of indictment of Mr. Gilchrest focuses on his disregard for the sanctity of life and his willingness to place 25 million Iraqis under a radical islamist regime, the Club’s objections are a lot more specific. Whether you are a social or fiscal conservative, Mr. Gilchrest provides you a lot of very good reasons to vote against him and his safe Republican seat gives you no reason to vote for him.
