Why are you running for office?
I am running for Congress for many reasons. Mostly, however, I am running in hopes of making my state, and by extension my nation, a better place for my children to live.

As a father of five, I want to know that I did my part to ensure that our children will have the opportunities to live the best lives possible. It is my deepest desire to stress to members of the House of Representatives that we must insist on putting American kids first, no matter the push-back.

I am dedicated to ensuring that our American children receive the best possible education, regardless of whether they attend a private, public, or charter school.

I am determined to make sure that we recapture the safety of our streets so that our children can know what it is like to play outside and go to events without worrying about becoming a statistic of violence.

I want to stress the importance of, and work on, bringing back high-paying jobs to our community so that our children do not need to learn how to live paycheck-to-paycheck.

To see these things through, I plan on ending the corruption that has plagued this city and state.

The corruption that has allowed our school systems to fail, that has provided a safe haven for criminals and repeat offenders, that has taken jobs from our community, simply so that those who are corrupt could line their very own pockets, needs to be put to a dramatic end.

In order to do these things, we need a fresh face, a fresh voice.

Out of Touch Dutch has been in office for over forty years, longer than I’ve been alive. It is time for a change. It is time for someone like me to run and put what truly matters first, our American children.

How do you plan to win?
Our platform is something all Americans can rally behind. We must put Americans first, expose and end the corruption, properly educate our children and bring back real jobs. This is a unifying message. I have spoken around the country and have convinced many influential people to help me take back Maryland. People like #Walkaway founder, Brandon Straka, have offered their time to help bring in Democrats to our side. Many national power players will lend a hand to flip this seat if I am honored to be the Republican nominee.
By running as an American first, it highlights the stark differences between a Socialist, like Out of Touch Dutch, and an everyday American.

Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
My father is first because he taught me what it means to be an American conservative. He lived his life as such.
When it comes to well known political people, there are many choices including: Washington because he set the path for a presidency instead of a King, Jefferson because he eloquently espoused true freedom, Coolidge because he led as a true conservative with great results and Reagan because he did many conservative and political actions that I got to watch first hand as a young child.
The people that truly live by a message of freedom are the ones that earn my respect.

What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Mark Levin’s Liberty and Tyranny. Levin is astute and shows the difference between liberty and a tyrannical government in a captivating way.

What will be your top priority in Congress?
To work with any President in order to bring the needed resources back to our district.

What is the biggest issue facing your district?

What are the three biggest issues facing our country?
Illegal immigration, rise of Socialism, eroding of our liberties.

What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
You have the God-given right to do whatever you want with your life, provided you don’t take away that right from another

What is your position on taxes, spending and the federal deficit?
This nation is on a bad path towards insolvency and eradicating our freedoms. We must lessen the burden of taxation on our citizens. We must curb our spending and we must eradicate our deficit.

What is your position on gun rights?
Constitutional carry. The government shall NOT infringe

What is your position on the legalization of marijuana?
You have the God-given right to do whatever you want with your life, provided you don’t take away that right from another.

What is your position on trade?
I support free and fair trade.

What is your position on foreign policy and military issues?
We must lead via peace through strength. We must also not needlessly involve ourselves in affairs that hinders liberty for Americans and others.

What is your position on the impeachment of President Trump?
It was a political stunt and a waste of our tax money.

Would you support the passage of the Human Life Amendment?
