College- Thomas Edison State University, studied Criminal justice.
Lobbied against the federal gun ban of 1994.
Testified & worked with Delegate Don Dwyer & Senator Bob Hooper on the Marriage Protection Act in the Maryland General Assembly.
Lobbied for a $15 minimum wage increase after President Trump said he’d raise it to $12(in hindsight this one was a bad idea.)
Why are you running for the 7th District seat?
I live in 7th district in Baltimore & see the deprived conditions of the district everyday. The opiod crisis & murder rates that has now spread to Baltimore county, bother me continuously & I know this seat now needs to be fought for by the GOP. I want to reverse the damage done by gerrymandering & move the district into a better future, not ground it in past failed policies. I want to make sure the $1.8 billion dollars in funds actually make it to the district for a change and the change is seen. No Democrats will do this because the have to vote within party lines. We don’t need politics as usual at this point in history we need a change & I want to help make that change.
How do you plan to win the general election?
I plan on going door to door in my district & letting everyone know that a vote for change means a vote for red. Everyone thinks the GOP is an alternative to the Democratic party, we are not a loose option. The Republican party is the equal opposite party that’s been here all along & wanting to make a difference in the district as well. We deserve a shot to change it & I will unite the district. Democrats can’t & will not do that & the constituents should know that by now.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Condoleeza Rice. Rice changed her political affiliation from Democrat to Republican because she didn’t agree with President Jimmy Carter’s foreign policy. If she can do it we all can. She should’ve started out as a republican because Democrats would not register her father to vote but Republicans did.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Blackout by Candace Owens. Owens shows how democratic policies have stagnated African Americans. From LBJ’s great society policies to government assistance that is pandered to urban communities, these policies hurt more than help.
What will be your top priority in Congress?
To protect the Constitutionality of our laws & let no one chip away at our constitution.
What is the biggest issue facing the 7th district?
The opiod crisis. Last year the district had 761 alcohol & drug related deaths, 692 were opiod overdoses. It’s a crisis now & couple with the homicide rates, which has risen to 52% in Baltimore county, death has become our biggest issue.
What are the three biggest issues facing our country?
1. Illegal immigration, this threatens national security & fuels crime. It also insults the legal process to enter the county.
2. Radical islamic terrorism. Like illegal immigration, radical terrorist are piggybacking to get in our country and tear it apart from within.
3. Our deficit. I remember when it was in the billions, now it’s in the trillions. I can’t imagine what will happen if it gets any higher.
What is your position on the impeachment of President Trump?
The impeachment proceedings are a waste of tax payers money & time. With no evidence or credible witnesses, the Democrats are trying to impeach President Trump because they can not win an election. It’s a national embarrassment.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
I’m Pro Life, I believe the choice is made at conception. I’m not for assisted suicide, every life is valuable even the person that thinks theirs is not.
What is your position on taxes, spending and the federal deficit?
The U.S. budget deficit has now more than doubled since 2015, the deficit is up to a 26% increase from 2018. Most blame the tax cuts but more Americans are doing better economically under this administration. It’s time to now control our spending & help lower this deficit.
What is your position on gun rights?
The 2nd amendment needs to be protected more then ever. Democrats are trying to take away this right by focusing on weapons like the AR15. A weapon that can be modified for terrorist but otherwise only release 1 round at a time. The goal for them is to frightened the public & take away our 2nd amendment rights altogether.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana?
Yes to medical marijuana & no to recreational. The science shows medical marijuana can help with a great deal of medical issues such as depression & autism, I’m all for that.
What is your position on trade?
Our trade deals need to be balance, other countries need to give as much as they are willing to take from the U.S.. I’ve long supported trade renegotiations.
What is your position on foreign policy and military issues?
While working on peace in the Middle East & advocating for no more endless wars, we are leading on foreign policy. With our military rebuilt we can now help our veterans transition home.
Would you support the passage of the Human Life Amendment?
Would you support the passage of the Balanced Budget Amendment?
