President Donald J. Trump

What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
I love reading biographies of former US Presidents. Just finished one on Teddy Rosevelt

What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
Most importantly, to be the face of the party when we do outreach events. Our goal is to grow the party and we want to set good examples so that others will want to be part of the Republican Party.

What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
No answer

What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
We need to continue reaching out to the black community. We are doing much better but need to do more. We need to have good leadership with our committees. We are the front lines and must be at the top of our game.

What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
I am 100 percent pro life. I would be very concerned with any assisted suicide, because there are too many factors that can influence these decisions that have their own agendas.

What is your position on taxes and spending?
There is never a bad tax cut. We need to balance our budget.

What is your position on gun rights?
Totally for gun rights. Restrictions only help criminals.

No

Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?
Yes

Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?
Yes

Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?
No
