I am a very active member of the community, volunteering my time to support community organizations and events. For several of these organizations I have been a member of several Boards and held an Officer position. I am a member, and current President, of Harford County Republican Women. I am a member of the Republican Club of Harford County. During Harford County Trump Campaign I worked with the County Chairs to coordinate the events, volunteers and election day.

Why are you running for office?
I want to serve the community and help get Republicans elected. I want to lead and be part of our Government, work together with all the Clubs and community to promote and help grow the Republican Party.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Ronald Reagan – He wasn’t the typical ‘politician’, he knew how to communicate to the people, his faith and belief in God.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
I’ve read many, but no book is as great as the Bible. It is central to my values, beliefs and principles.
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
Central Committee’s role is to represent the Republican party, communicate and work together with the County clubs to help grow Republicans and support the party. Central Committee also helps in voter registration, be present and work at the events, raise funds. Central Committee members have a responsibility to serve and educate the community. When we are part of the community we lead by example and thus we can grow more Republicans and encourage new candidates.
What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
1) Get Governor Hogan re-elected and replace Frosh 2) Spending accountability 3)Gerrymandering
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
Central Committee plays no role on these issues. Personally, I believe life starts at conception, I value life and I believe in personal responsibility. I do not believe in abortion at any stage except in very, very, limited situations; however if you want it – then you pay for it and don’t tax me. Our taxes should not be supporting Planned Parenthood. Assisted suicide, I don’t agree with it, but I can understand the why they ask for it and the necessary protections.
What is your position on taxes and spending?
Reasonable taxes are necessary to support needed services or infrastructure, however, spending needs to be accountable and fiscally responsible. Government, at all levels, cannot fund everything, nor should it. Taxes and fees are too high, (County included) some need to be removed. I do not believe that we should be paying anything for higher education, planned parenthood, or supporting ANY illegal immigration with our taxes.
What is your position on gun rights?
I strongly support the 2nd amendment. I believe in responsible gun ownership and I have no issue with training and licensing requirements.
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party primaries should be open to independent voters?
Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?
Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?
