Political Experience
I have been volunteering for the Republican Party for 25 + years, including co-founding Club Conservative. I have been a member of the Baltimore County Republican Central Committee for 10 years (2 elected terms, and 2 years as an appointed member). I am on the Executive Committee, as a Member At Large. I regularly attend all Baltimore County Republican club meetings. I volunteer on many local and state-wide campaigns. I participate on Super Saturdays and other grassroots activities throughout the state.

Why are you running for office?
Baltimore County Republican Central Committee – 5th Councilmanic District
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Ronald Reagan – President Reagan is the reason I became a Republican.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Shattered by Jonathan Allen on Hillary Clinton’s campaign was one I enjoyed recently.
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
To market, promote, and grow the Republican Party in Baltimore County, including expanding our grassroots activities, and utilizing technology and social media.
What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
Increasing grassroots activities, engaging voters, and targeting flippable precincts
What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
In my opinion, there seems to be a rift between the far right members of our party and middle of the road Republicans. We have to focus on the things we all agree on and work toward the common goal of growing our party and putting our differences aside.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
I am a pro-life Catholic. At this point, I do not support assisted suicide and believe this is consistent with my faith and pro-life position.
What is your position on taxes and spending?
Increased taxes and wasteful spending are an immoral burden on our country and future generations.
What is your position on gun rights?
I support the 2nd Amendment and am a legal gun owner who enjoys going to the gun range.
