Legislators can receive $101 per day for lodging and $47 per day for meals during the 90-day General Assembly session. If elected, do you plan to accept these benefits? Why or why not?
Nope, i would not. These legislators volunteer to run for office, i haven’t seen us all begging them to run for office. I would even go as far as cutting legislature salaries by 50%.
There is a culture of depravity and sexual harassment prevalent in the Maryland General Assembly. As a legislator, how will you work to end this culture of depravity and to ensure that those who commit these acts are removed from the General Assembly?
I think if you are convicted of sexual harassment legislator in question must resign; This should also apply to public drunkiness of elected officials. They feel they are better than the rest of us, thereby i think they should be held to a higher standard. Kumar Barve should never been allowed to serve as long as he did in the MD Leg.
