Why are you running for office?
commissioner district 3

Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Kennedy, he did not look for the republican or the democratic solution to problems he looked for the best solution.

What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Democracy in America- It was written over 2 hundred years ago and is still relevant today about why, how, and when people pay attention and vote.

What will be your top priority in elected to this position?
To keep county workers working in Carroll.

What is the biggest issue facing your county?
The opioid problem.

What is your position on taxes and spending?
You have to pay for what you want. Communities have to decide what services they need and what they are willing to pay for. However you have to remember government’s main functions are education safety and taking care of those who cannot take care of themselves.

What is your position on a county tax cap?
I believe there should be a limit on how much property taxes can go up in a year. Families need time to be able to adjust their budgets.

What is your position on land use issues?
Well thought out zoning and land use designations define what can and cannot be done in communities.

What is your position on public safety?
Public safety is one of the top priorities of any community, without safe communities nothing else is important.
