Why are you running for office?
To continue to work for the taxpayers and employees of Caroline County.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
My Father. He was a straight shooting, no nonsense, Conservative.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
The Reagan Diaries. A real life view from a real life Republican President who I feel was the best modern day President.
What will be your top priority in elected to this position?
Generate more revenue without increasing taxes or cutting services.
What is the biggest issue facing your county?
The stagnant revenue.
What is your position on taxes and spending?
I’m not a fan of raising taxes. Period. We currently practice spending as we have it, and limited bonding of Capital projects.
What is your position on a county tax cap?
We don’t currently have one, but I wouldn’t be opposed to exploring one.
What is your position on land use issues?
I’m in favor of landowners being able to use their property as they see fit as long as there’s no serious health or safety detriment to their neighbors.
What is your position on public safety?
I’m 100% pro Public Safety on all fronts. Public Safety must continue to be a priority spending item.
