Why are you running for office?
To advance the cause of freedom and the rule of law; and seek to hold the line for the same in the Old Line State.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
President Ronald Reagan & Winston Churchill
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
John Adams; because McCullough is brilliant in demonstrating the necessity of wise political leadership on matters of self governance and liberty, and few times in our history have we ever as a nation not needed to be aware of the intent of international interests seeking to subvert our institutions, while maintaining the strength of family bonds as Abigail and John sought to do. And the reminder to befriend political rivals at times for the cause of America is seen in the lives and then deaths of both Adams and Jefferson on July 4th within hours of each other.
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
To elect conservatives to office.
What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
The division and hatred of conservatives, moderates and others.
What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
Re-electing our Governor Hogan in the face of factions and a potential blue wave at the polls. Ensuring continuing support for all candidates who embraces the conservative and pro-freedom platform. Funding.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
100% Pro-life from conception to natural death, and opposed to any assisted suicide.
What is your position on taxes and spending?
Opposed to any increase in taxation and support instead a reduction in taxes on every level; wasteful spending is both criminal and ludicrous in MD considering that outrageous wastes are reported; 100 million lost in Baltimore schools; 700 employees of the Baltimore City school system making over 100k…the pocketing of money by powerful liberals…the matter must be addressed with diligence and exposure which Red Maryland is doing.
What is your position on gun rights?
HUGE 2A supporter. We need more gun freedom to combat the growing evil of far left and mental cases. I support Constitutional Carry and Shall Issue standards for keeping and bearing a handgun. I support the right of every household to own and keep AR15s and will fight any tyrannical attempt to remove the ease of ownership of self-defense semi-auto guns from the people.
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party primaries should be open to independent voters?
Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?
Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?
