Why are you running for office?
I feel the county is at economic crossroads and should do more for economic development, increase county workforce stability, and do more to preserve our agricultural heritage

Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Author-Ayn Rand, her ability to see into the future the struggles we are facing now with to many laws and regulations

What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand, because it teaches people the consequences of socialism

What will be your top priority in elected to this position?
Working with economic development and increasing workforce stability. Working closely with business owners and agricultural community to ensure their place in the county

What is the biggest issue facing your county?
Economic development and county employee retention and land use

What is your position on taxes and spending?
I don’t always agree with raising taxes but the must keep pace with demand, although spending should be examined to make sure we are on the same page

What is your position on a county tax cap?
I don’t agree with a county tax cap, I feel a more realistic assessment and the way and means of doing it would suit the county better

What is your position on land use issues?
To preserve agricultural lands and utilize the municipalities infrastructure to support more commercial and residential zoning

What is your position on public safety?
Public safety should always be a top priority and feel the county has always done a great job
