Why are you running for office?
As your representative on the Wicomico County School Board of Education, my number one priority is to ensure every child has a safe learning environment. I am also committed to transportation excellence and will use my years of experience and expertise in law enforcement and transportation on your behalf.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Ronald Reagan. He brought common sense and prosperity back to the country for the everyday person.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?

What will be your top priority on the Board of Education?
School Safety for the students and teachers at school and while being transported.
What is the biggest issue facing your county schools?
Addressing behavior issues fairly and impartially.
What are the three biggest issues facing Maryland schools?
Safety, Logistics and Transportation.
Have you read your county schools curriculum? If so, which parts do you like and which parts do you dislike?
I have not had access to the current curriculum.
What is your position on school spending?
Ensure that we work within our means but prioritize that spending focuses on school safety and the classroom.

What is your position on teacher tenure?
I have not taken an position on this issue at this time.
What is your position on standardized testing?
Curriculum needs to be focused on the educational needs of students in preparation for life. Standardized testing should be according to curriculum, to ensure students are reaching certain necessary metrics and to know the progress of students. However, the important issue here is that educators need to use those test scores to target those students who are not grade level on Reading, Math and other important topics and basic needs.
What is your position on classroom size?
Classroom should be manageable and determined by individual school needs.
