Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
A compilation of those who drafted our Founding documents…..they are unrivaled by anyone since.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
As an antiquarian collector, I have a great reverence for all books…..first editions….original texts before they were “edited”. History, Religion and Founding letters and correspondence.
What will be your top priority in Congress?
Adherence and defence of the Constitution and Bill of Rights is the primary duty of every member of Congress.
What is the biggest issue facing your district?
Murder rate. Injustice (unequal treatment). Political corruption. Decades of feckless politicians resulting in the degradation of our quality of life!
What are the three biggest issues facing our country?
Election Integrity and Government corruption…..failure to address term limits. Failure to uphold oaths and the Constitution. (That’s 4 or 5 but all are connected.)
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
Pro-Life. No assisted suicide. (You want to kill yourself, do it on your own).
What is your position on taxes, spending and the federal deficit?
Taxation is theft. Spending is out of control as is the Federal deficit…..every expenditure must be reevaluated/reapplied for every fiscal year to be determined worthy of public expenditure….and when it’s not within the Constitutional purview of government, stopped!
What is your position on gun rights?
Shall not be infringed. Period! Anything else….save your breath. I don’t compromise on inalienable rights! “Your vote IS the Revolution!” If not at the ballot box then as our Founders recognized the purpose of guaranteeing the right to bear arms. I don’t care if anyone doesn’t like it. They may choose to give up any if there individual rights but do not have the authority to abdicate mine.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana?
No to recreational. Yes to medical with doctor’s prescription/controlled regulation.
What is your position on trade?
Balanced 1:1 ratio (unless we and our allies can benefit better). AMERICA FIRST! Then review who or even if our charity serves a tangible benefit. Return our country to being producers instead of customers.
What is your position on foreign policy and military issues?
Lead, Follow or getting on our knees, I chose Leadership. Peace through strength. Let foreign policy catch up to that….
Would you support the passage of the Human Life Amendment?
Would you support the passage of the Balanced Budget Amendment?
