Why are you running for office?
I support fiscal and land use policies that meet our current needs and provide a foundation for our future.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Gov. Larry Hogan – he successfully is able to work with both sides on issues.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
What will be your top priority in elected to this position?
Continue to listen to all groups and interests and work with colleagues to achieve resolutions that are in the best interests of the majority of citizens.
What is the biggest issue facing your county?
What is your position on taxes and spending?
I support a small, efficient government that helps foster economic growth and keeps taxes low.
What is your position on a county tax cap?
Our revenue cap is a bit too restrictive, would rather institute a rate cap with room for nominal increases. Unsupportive of any income tax increases.
What is your position on land use issues?
I have been sensitive to the diverse needs of this community: to farmers, watermen, property owners, retirees, young people who need a career path to remain here and the people who, like me, remember the clean waters of our rivers and Bay and want to preserve and restore them
What is your position on public safety?
Sheriff & Emergency Medical Services are my highest priority and must be well-funded to protect our citizens
