Why are you running for office?
I am running to fight for the residents of Maryland and the United States, to eliminate the corruption of politics in our government. I want to bring our country and the governing power back to the people of this nation. We need to stand up against the total corrupt politics on both sides of the aisle high and low. No one in office can really be trusted and it is time that we stand up and clean the house and senate as well as state offices.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
I would have to say my political role model on a state level would be governor Larry Hogan and former Presidents Therodore Roosevelt and Ronald Regan.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
I believe in the constitution our founding fathers wrote when we became a nation, with only the proper changes in time in history. I also enjoyed ; Rediscovering Americanism and the tyranny of progressivism By Mark R. Levin
What will be your top priority in Congress?
My top priority in congress is to fight the corruption within our federal and state offices to take back our government and give it back to the people of the United States. While ensuring many state and federal level issues have the proper focus to ensure the are brought resolution or is denied when it is not good for the people. It is time to give the power back to the people of the United States and drain the corrupt swamp we call our government.
What is the biggest issue facing your district?
Like many districts, the opioid, drug and alcohol addiction epidemic is plaguing the 06 Maryland District. I plan to fight the opioid and addiction epidemic by bring more rehabilitation programs and funding to the State of Maryland. I do also plan to fight unemployment and homelessness by working to Bring more companies and jobs to Maryland and to the United States, also by readjusting many support programs to cut out those who are abusing those programs spending funds that could be used elsewhere.
What are the three biggest issues facing our country?
In the United States we are faced with extreme crisis on many fronts, from major corruption in our Government by both State and Federal officials. We face violence both foreign and domestic from terrorists to the mentally unstable. We have a major pharmaceutical and drug epidemic. Our nation suffers serious immigration issues with our stands on illegal immigration and our borders. We face a major lack of jobs, pay and homelessness as a nation. We as a nation are facing crisis in our healthcare system which has been given to our private sectors for the sake of corrupt pockets. Our nation is on the tipping point of total crisis and without change it will surely be our own end.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
I do not believe in assisted suicide or abortion as we should not play the act of any higher power or in someone’s beliefs and should honor our truths laid upon us in the Declaration of Independence.
What is your position on taxes, spending and the federal deficit?
I believe that due to our corrupt government on both sides of the isle our taxes are entirely too high, spending is completely out of control and has not restrictions period. The “leaders” in office spend hard working Americans tax dollars as if it was their own to spend. I am angry at how our “leaders” continue to increase our deficit and the corruption in Washington DC and on the state level does not allow for the deficit to be resolved due to their greed and own self interest.
What is your position on gun rights?
As a United States Marine Corps Veteran I am a very strong advocate of Our 2nd Amendment. I believe all should have the right to bear arms but as time evolves and issues press we need to have more restrictions on certain aspects of Firearms when it comes to purchasing processes and stronger background checks focusing on mental health stability and security measures.
What is your position on the legalization of marijuana?
I believe that the legalization of Marijuana can be beneficial to our economic state as it is a profitable business. As well as assist medically for those who suffer from anxiety, PTSD and many other medical disorders. I believe it needs to be focused on the same as we focus on alcohol but with much more restriction.
What is your position on trade?
I do believe that trade is a huge part of our infrastructure as a nation when it comes to our business and private sectors. However I do believe that there should be restrictions when it comes to any involvement of our Government and officials in office.
What is your position on foreign policy and military issues?
I believe that we as a nation need to focus greater on our foreign policies and less focus on re-elections and growing corrupt pockets and fulfilling lobbyist requests. As for military issues, even with the recent bill passed on funding for Active Duty military for housing, training, benefits, and equipment, we need to take care of our fighting men and women who selfishly serve and fight for our freedoms day in and day out. We also need to fix our so called Department of Veteran Affairs programs and funding. We can’t take care of our active military and then forget them when they return to civilian life. The system has come far in recent years but needs to continue to get better to support our Active military and veterans to ensure they receive proper care and treatment they have so rightfully earned.
