Why are you running for office?
I want to help make this County become the model of every Central Committee in the State and even the Country. Help develop a positive atmosphere to ensure we have strong Republican representation in all local, county and state offices.

Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Both Ronald Reagan and Tip O’Neil (yes a democrat) because they were the last of the greats that learned to work together and build a government that worked for the people. While I never agreed with everything they wanted, they put their difference aside and did what was good for the American People. Reagan was the great Communicator and had great common sense.

What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Decision Points by George W. Bush because it really looked at his critical decisions that shaped his presidency and personal life. Especially the beginning of our war on terror.

What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
I see myself in a leadership role in the Committee. I begin years of experience in leadership roles and setting goals and not just meeting those goals, but exceeding the goals.

What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
I truly believe the County Republican Party must begin to set true measurable goals. What I mean by measurable goals is to be able to track our progress and make changes in the process to be successful in those goals.

What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
I truly believe all Central Committee and the State Party must work together to encourage strong Candidates to run for Office. We must also begin the process of creating a positive environment to encourage our Residents to see the positives with our party and to want to be involved in making this State a Republican State. I truly believe with the right goals and right leadership this can happen

What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
While will always respect the law of the land, I personally do not support abortion or assisted suicide. I am a firm believer in God Almighty. He and only he determines when we or another should leave this earth.

What is your position on taxes and spending?
I am for limited taxes and always a balanced budget. It’s time to inspire people to be great again. It’s time to stop spending on programs that encourage people not to work.

What is your position on gun rights?
The second amendment is clear. Are citizens have the right to bear arms.

Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party primaries should be open to independent voters?
Yes

Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?
No

Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?
Yes

Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?
Yes
