Why are you running for office?
To give back to my community and to continue a pathway to public service
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
Ronald Reagan. As a youngster, I was taken aback with his empathy for the people, his love for America, and his forthrightness to protect the freedoms that we enjoy as citizen’s of the United States.
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
Churchill- My Early Life-because it gives you some insight on what was to become a fearless leader who advocated for the people despite the greatest of odds.
What will be your top priority in elected to this position?
To supervise estates that go through probate by appointing guardians for the deceased person fairly and within the law.
What is the biggest issue facing your county?
Population growth
What is your position on taxes and spending?
Become more transparent on county spending and how they determine the tax base equitably
What is your position on a county tax cap?
Need more information and data before I can make a cogent argument
What is your position on land use issues?
Calvert County is in flux- do we maintain our rural base or do we open for big business and become more city-like. Also, Calvert should increase tourism and utilize Solomon’s Island a bit more,

Crucial, imperative, necessary, and a necessity for society survival.
