Why are you running for office?
To build the infrastructure needed to support candidates, to integrate new technology, and to get Republicans elected.
Who do you consider your political role model, and why?
What is your favorite book about politics and policy, and why?
What do you see as the role of the Central Committee?
The same as my purpose for running: To build the infrastructure needed to support candidates, to integrate new technology, and to get Republicans elected.
What is the biggest issue facing your county Republican Party?
That’s a toss-up between the massive disparity in numbers and the many personal conflicts among our county’s Republican activists.
What are the three biggest issues facing the Maryland Republican Party?
We need to end the Democrats veto-proof majorities. We need to attract moderate independents without alienating Trump supporters. We need to get Governor Hogan re-elected.
What is your position on life issues? (abortion, assisted suicide)
I’m pro-life. As far as assisted suicide, my concern is that it wouldn’t just be an option but it would become expected of the old or terminally ill, and that medical providers and/or family will pressure them for their own financial gain.
What is your position on taxes and spending?
Balance budgets by lowering spending, not by raising taxes.
What is your position on gun rights?
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party primaries should be open to independent voters?
Do you believe that the state party and the county parties should be allowed to endorse in primary elections?
Do you believe that Maryland Republican Party auxiliary organizations should have a vote on the Maryland Republican Party executive committee?
Would you support limiting the terms of Maryland Republican Party officers to eight consecutive years in the same office?
