Your Chance to Make Maryland’s Public Schools Better

You have an opportunity to make Maryland’s Public Schools a whole lot better.

The Maryland State Board of Education is opening up for public comment and participation your views in selecting a State Superintendent. You can do so by submitting your comments to the Board online or by attending one of the public forums currently scheduled for this week:

Monday, January 25th

Huntingtown High School (Southern Region)
4125 N. Solomons Island Road, Huntingtown, MD 20639

Monday, January 25th
4:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Baltimore Polytechnic Institute (Central Region)
1400 West Cold Spring Lane, Baltimore, MD 21209

Tuesday, January 26th

Mountain Ridge High School (Western Region)
100 Dr. Grasmick Lane, Frostburg, MD 21532

Tuesday, January 26th 3:30 PM & 7:00 PM
Northwest High School (Capital/Western Region)

Friday, January 29th
3:00 PM & 7:00 PM
Queen Anne’s County High School (Mid Eastern Shore)

I of course suggested that David Craig be named State Superintendent back in August, but you can come to your own conclusions and make sure that Maryland has a solid, dedicated champion of education who believes in conservative principles has the opportunity to be considered and selected by the Board of Education.
