Maryland’s Obamacare Exchange Roll Out Working Like a Spinal Tap Concert

Supporters of Obamacare were down right giddy this morning touting the opening of Maryland’s Obamacare exchange known as the Maryland Health Connection. However, the program’s website participants use to sign up for health insurance is having some major problems.

The site was set to go live at 8am, however, those logging on to the site were greeted with a notice to come back later.

An MSNBC reporter tried to access the Maryland Health Connection site but gave up after several attempts, a failure of the live chat, and a customer service call that earns her a recored message. After more than 30 minutes the exasperated reporter hangs up and says, “If I were signing up for myself, this is where my patience would be exhausted.”
