Takoma Park Opposes Sale and Production of Duck Liver!
The Peoples Republic of Takoma Park in Montgomery County has once again flown it hard-left colors by approving a resolution opposing the production or sale of duck liver within its jurisdiction.
The City Council unanimously approved a resolution to oppose the sale of the French delicacy known as “foie gras” because it is produced by force feeding geese and ducks, according to Tri-ParishTimes.com.
Bruce Williams, the mayor of the city of 18,000, said the city may consider prohibiting stores and restaurants from selling the delicacy.
