Bobby Zirkin (Among Others) Thinks We’re Stupid– UPDATED

He doesn’t have a magic hat or three Silver Stars but State Senator Bobby Zirkin has all the chops to be the John Kerry of Maryland’s Senate.

In a monumental exercise of butt-covering Senator Zirkin voted for the tax bill in committee and then voted against the tax bill on its passage out of the Senate.

This is classic “I voted for it before I voted against it.”

I can hardly wait for his stories of hunting the Khmer Rouge from his Swift boat on the Patapsco River.

I’ve been told I have been unfair to Senator Zirkin by singling him out for scorn based on his Kerryesque performance. He has a lot of company.
