Red Maryland Radio #311 4-20-2017

On tonight’s show:

  • We are joined by Maryland State Senator Mike Hough to discuss the recent General Assembly session and the recent furor over the failure to pass a bill dealing with the parental rights of convicted and accused rapists.  While many on the left have alleged sexism was the cause of the bills demise, they have ignored the role the Democratic legislative leadership played in delaying passage as well as the hypocrisy of Democratic supporters of the bill who have supported legislation that benefited convicted rapists.
  • Maryland Democrats are trying to convince themselves they can beat Larry Hogan.  We’ll breakdown their strategy.
  • The Annapolis Capital gave an analysis of local lawmakers which shows what is wrong with media coverage of the legislature. We’ll explain.
