Falcon and Lindner join Red Maryland

Red Maryland is pleased to announce that Jamie Falcon and Genevieve Lindner have joined our writing staff.

Genevieve Lindner was the Republican candidate for the Maryland House of Delegates in District 30A in the 2014 election. She has a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies from Washington College and studied at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law, where she focused on criminal justice and devoted over 800 hours of pro bono work to the school’s nationally ranked clinical law program. While in law school, Lindner was an intern at the House of Delegates where she was able to learn about the legal process of the legislature. Lindner currently practices real estate, land use, and construction law in downtown Annapolis.

Jamie Falcon is first and foremost a proud husband and father. Jamie is a former member of the Anne Arundel Republican Central Committee, and was a Republican candidate for the House of Delegates in District 33. Jamie is an adjunct professor of Economics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County and also works as a member of the Ocean City Beach Patrol. He was also elected to the 2008 and 2012 Republican National Conventions, receiving the most votes in Maryland in 2008. Jamie has also served as Faculty Advisor to UMBC College Republicans, Economic Advisor to Del. Ron George, Annapolis Mayor’s and Anne Arundel County Exec’s Econ/Budget Transition Teams, The Anne Arundel Commission on Excellence. Ron George’s 2010 Campaign Manager (beating Michael Busch), and Co-founder of Upper-Shore Young Republicans. He has Private sector experience in credit union industry, and is a Former Econ Faculty member at Anne Arundel Community College. He is also a PADI Divemaster who is into hunting, crabbing and fishing with his kids.
