Greg Kline Dominates 1st MD GOP Chair Candidates Forum

As promoted here, tonight the Montgomery County Republican Party hosted the first candidate’s forum for the three candidates for Maryland Republican Party Chairman. Red Maryland’s own Greg Kline dominated the forum, the only candidate with a plan for how to transform the Republican Party and a solid plan on how to pick up seats in the General Assembly. The only Chairman that was sitting on the dais tonight was clearly Greg Kline.

Marcus Alzona taped the entire thing using Google hangouts. You can check it out below:

Collins Bailey did a fair job himself. Diana Waterman however did stumble a few times, and many in the audience (including myself) were not aware until tonight that her Republican Party activism only began in 2005, which really hurts the argument of her surrogates that she is the “most experienced” candidate in the field. But for me, many questions still remain after tonight’s forum about the decision making process within the State Party, especially as it relates to the South Carolina caper and the Nicolee Ambrose decision.
But don’t just take my word for it, I’m sure that you will be able to get additional coverage from some of the other fine sources that were at the forum, including Purple Elephant Politics (who broadcast the post-game show live from the floor of the forum), Eyes for the Prize, Richard Cross and MarylandReporter.com
