The Broadside: 5/7/2012

Andrew Langer flies solo as co-host Mark Newgent recuperates from his trip South of the Border!  He broadcasts live from Annie’s Paramount Steak House on Kent Narrows in Grasonville, MD.
His first guest is Phil Kerpen, formerly of Americans for Prosperity and now President of American Commitment, a new organization that sits at the crossroads of grassroots advocacy and policy research.  They talk about why AC was formed, and where Phil sees it going, and generally about the state of conservative and libertarian activism in the US.
Then Gineen Bresso joins the Broadside,  Gineen is running in Florida’s 23rd Congressional District against Debbie Wasserman Schultz, the current chair of the Democratic National Committee.  Gineen tells us why Ms. Wasserman Schultz’ tenure at the DNC is indicative of how out of touch she is with her district in FL, and out of touch with Americans generally.

Finally, Senate Candidate Daniel Bongino sits down with Andrew.  Dan breaks down the state of the economy, and how current Senator Ben Cardin has been asleep at the wheel.
