DC Congresswoman Insults Second Amendment Advocates
I don’t know if you have seen this video of District of Columbia Congresswoman Eleanor Holmes berating Second Amendment advocates attending a pubic meeting about DC’s unconstitutional gun ban, and ordering them to “pipe down.”
I was also amazed to watch Holmes further insult the advocates by telling them that she’s been in Congress for 15 years and “they look real strange to her.” This is the kind of nasty attitude and contempt that DC elected officials display toward anyone who dares to challenge their denying of Second Amendment rights to city residents. The same contempt they will display today when they issue their rules of obtaining a handgun in DC.
