I am 89.47% In Line With Duncan Hunter
I came across a website which gages your opinions on issues. Based on your answers, and how strongly you indicate you feel about certain issues, the site identifies the presidential candidate closest to your ideology. It would certainly figure that a guy with little chance of prevailing would be the candidate who agrees with me most. Believe it or not, my top 8 matches are republicans. After Hunter, they go as follows:
Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee (R) – 85.96%
Former Tennessee Senator Fred Thompson (R) – 85.96%
Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney (R) – 82.46%
Businessman John Cox (R) – 78.95%
Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani (R) – 75.44%
Colorado Representative Tom Tancredo (R) – 75.44%
Kansas Senator Sam Brownback (R) – 68.42%
Arizona Senator John McCain (R) – 68.42%
Ironically, the closest democratic candidate to me is Delaware Senator Joseph Biden (D) at 52.63%. He’s immediately followed by Illinois Senator Barack Obama (D) at 49.12%. For the record, I am least like Ohio Representative Dennis Kucinich (D) at 17.54%.
With results like this, I wonder what they would say at Free State Politics where some have suggested I belong.
