Republicans Unite on Slots

[UPDATE: the announcement is scheduled for 1 pm.]

According to sources in Annapolis Senate Minority Leaders David Brinkley will announce, possibly today, that the Republican caucus will vote against legalizing slots in any special session of the legislature.

This effectively means that slots will not pass in a special session and that the session will be devoted entirely to increasing your taxes.
