Keith Washington Indicted

A Prince George’s County grand jury has indicted County Executive Jack Johnson’s crony and former county deputy homeland security director on charges of second degree murder and attempted murder for his attack on a couple of furniture delivery men.

He is currently under indictment for brandishing a firearm while threatening a real estate appraiser.

Washington seems to be one of those guys who can be relied upon to abuse whatever authority they happen to have. He is reported to have been a lieutenant colonel in the Army Reserve. It had to be tons of fun serving with him.

How he was able to survive on the Prince George’s County police force given his record of abuse of authority and how his service as Jack Johnson’s driver qualified him to be deputy homeland security director for the county would be fertile grounds for inquiry if anyone in the media was really interested in taking a look at the Johnson administration.
